Promoting independent, creative, and critical thinking enabling pupils to develop a healthy growth mindset.
De La Salle Holy Cross College is a dual charism school founded by the De La Salle Brothers (Faith, Service, Community) and the Holy Cross Sisters (In the Cross is Salvation). In 1986, De La Salle College and Holy Cross Convent amalgamated to form our beloved De La Salle Holy Cross College. The De La Salle Brothers and the Holy Cross Sisters co-own the College and their presence ensures the living out of the pastoral and spiritual guidance at the College.
For 38 years, DLSHCC has been providing affordable, quality Catholic education. We take pride in nurturing pupils who not only excel academically but are a transforming presence in the community. Each pupil is seen as an individual and their unique potential is nurtured.

The College lives by its school motto “Be first that you may be of service”. De La Salle Holy Cross College instils in its pupils an active commitment to serving others and the community by providing a variety of meaningful outreach activities. The College strives to model hope and optimism for the future by teaching and modelling accountability through becoming aware of the needs of each other, and the community. The ethos is underpinned by the Religious Education programme and the Liturgical practices which form an integral part of College life. We are proud of our Ethos Committee who safeguard the ethos and charisms which are dear to us all.
A vibrant, active, and deeply involved Alumni Association ensures that the community stays connected across generations and that the ethos is nurtured and shared.
As a school community serving humanity with Christ at its centre, we provide a holistic education in harmony with the vision of the founders.
We undertake to nurture pupils’ spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, moral and emotional development in a caring and stimulating environment. In the process, we embrace the best innovative and tested teaching experiences to enhance their education and growth, to ensure relevance to the society in which they live.
We endeavour, through example and invitation, to promote independent thinking whilst living out the values of the Gospel enshrined in our school motto, “Be first, that you may be of service.”
We encourage each other to grow to our full potential and to develop a commitment of service to others. We strive to ensure that the rights of all are held sacred.
